RACE READY
HOW TO SIGN UP FOR RACES
Create a FREE account: Having a RaceReady account is the first step to getting admission to events using RaceReady, or registering as a racer, or using any part of our system. We think everyone should have one, but we know we're biased:) If you ride, compete, or just attend events, you want a RaceReady profile. Here's why.
IMPORTANT: RaceReady is a platform that automatically saves your lap times, scores, and podiums from all events that use RaceReady Live Timing. Use it together with our Racer Connect app to check out other racers' stats and log your rides.
Signup for our EVENT from your Race Ready Account . Once you've logged in to your racer profile,
STEP BY STEP
1) Click events 2) click on the race you want to sign up for, and 3) click "Register" In the Riders tab (4) view the racers that are available to register (5) and then select which ones you want to register or else add a new racer to your account (6) Select the classes for each racer by clicking "Add Classes" and making your choice(s): (7) Once you add classes, you'll be prompted to select which bike or vehicle you want to attach to that class entry: (8) You'll then be prompted to sign a waiver to attend or participate in the event, depending on what the promoter sets up for this checkout process: (9) Finally, just click submit (you are allowed to purchase OWN insurance) Otherwise CASH transactions will be placed upon race day.
RFID TAGS (REQUIRED)
If you want the system to track you,
don't screw up your RFID tag.
The RFID Transponder Tag is an adhesive strip with an electronic circuit inside of it. It must be mounted properly in order to show up when you cross the finish line—and there are a lot of ways to do it wrong. For example, if the tag is too close to conductive metal (which is found inside helmets), it can "de-tune" the tag's frequency and make it unreliable. Just follow the steps and you'll be fine.
First, DON'T PLACE AN RFID TAG OVER ANOTHER RFID TAG. We call this "stacking tags." Neither tag will work if you do this. If you have multiple tags on your visor, make sure there's ~1/2" of space between them.
